“Stunning castle. The whole property is huge, with a massive garden and surrounding area that was perfect for walking around and relaxing. Everything was well maintained, the staff were welcoming. Room had mini fridge as well. Definitely one of the most unique hotels I’ve stayed at. Dream came true.”
“A beautiful castle: peaceful, historic, with a special atmosphere. You feel like resting here both in soul and in heart. Excellent service.”
“I love this place. But there is something you should know before you plan your staying here, this place have several types of rooms, and not all are within the Chateau. If you want to enjoy an immersive experience and feel a genuine experience of being in a Historical place, you might want to make sure your room is located inside the Chateau.”
“It is an amazing castle, well kept. Our room in particular had recent furniture and felt really comfortable. There are plenty of parking spaces. The area itself feels like a fairy tale, it is amazing to see the surroundings. It is extremely convenient, if travelling by car, to park the car in one of the P+R and travel to city center via public transport (ecological, time and money saver). I would come back and it would make me really happy to have some more varied breakfast options (it is already varied but a bit basic, some more fresh fruits, some warm scrambled eggs and sides to them, a couple of cakes and/or type of brioches, crepes or pancakes). That would raise the bar set by such a nice environment.”
“What to say about this Chateau. Huge spaces everywhere, inside the park, clean rooms, very good breakfast and kind and polite staff. Thank you very much for everything guys. Hope to see you soon!”
“Our stay here was beautiful. Perfect quiet location about a 20 minute drive or £20 Uber from Strasbourg city centre. It was amazing to stay in a real life chateau, the rooms were good, the breakfast was good and we even liked meeting the hotel cat.”
“We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful castle in Strasbourg. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming, making us feel immediately at home. The room was spacious, well maintained, and consistently clean, and the breakfast was good and enjoyable. The hotel is located a bit outside the city center, but it is easy to reach downtown using public transportation (bus or train), so this was not an issue for us. Unfortunately, we experienced a problem on the day of our departure, which is why I am reducing one star. Reception was scheduled to open at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5th. At 7:06 a.m., however, no one was present. We had a taxi reserved for 7:00 a.m., and the driver was waiting, but we could not leave on time because there was no one at reception to collect our keys. As a result, the taxi charged us a late fee, and we were rushed to catch our train. When the receptionist eventually arrived, she mentioned she had been in the kitchen, but the reception desk had been unattended. Aside from this inconvenience at checkout, our stay was very enjoyable overall.”
